“The expressive and open 2019 Zaha Toko Vineyard El Corte was produced with Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon from 15-year-old vines in Altamira. The grapes were picked by soil and fermented together with 15% full clusters and indigenous yeasts, and the wine matured for 12 months in 500-liter French oak barrels, 15% of them new. It’s very aromatic, and the varieties are very integrated together. It has a medium to full-bodied palate with great balance and very tasty, clean and focused flavors. It has precision and symmetry and is beautifully proportioned.” – Wine Advocate 93 Points
