Tenuta Sette Ponti, translating to “seven bridges,” pays homage to the region’s rich history, with one bridge, Ponte Buriano, even gracing the background of Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Dr. Antonio Moretti, inheriting the estate in the late 1990s, envisioned its transformation into a leading Tuscan producer. His astute decision to collaborate with Giuseppe “Beppe” Caviola, one of Italy’s most important oenologists, advising dozens of wineries from Piedmont down to Sicily, cemented Tenuta Sette Ponti’s position among the region’s elite.

Oreno 2021, the estate’s flagship wine, embodies the elegance of Bordeaux blends while showcasing the unique character of the Tuscan terroir. Crafted from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot grapes, the name “Oreno” itself pays tribute to a stream that meanders through the estate. Orma 2021, a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc, is a testament to the Cuseri family’s dedication to excellence in a new terroir – the famed Bolgheri.
