“The 2009 Ruchottes-Chambertin Grand Cru Clos des Ruchottes is drinking well, bursting with a pure and largely fruit-driven bouquet of raspberries, cherries, rose petals and orange rind. On the palate, it’s medium to full-bodied, supple and open-knit, with a fleshy core of fruit, melting tannins and succulent acids. It’s a pretty wine that’s somewhat short on complexity right now, though perhaps that will come with time.” – Wine Advocate 92 Points
