An oenologist from France, Stephan Asseo is an innovator with groundbreaking dreams – more than the Bordeaux and Rhone’s AOC laws would allow. In a quest to pursue his ideals, Stephan travelled the world in search for paradise – a terroir so great that the wines produced would be as incredible. After traversing from South Africa to Lebanon, Argentina to Napa, Stephen found his Eden in Paso Robles.

Thus, L’Aventure was born. Like what we’ve seen in many legendary winemakers, from madness comes genius. What started off as an “adventure” has since become one of USA’s Central Coast’s most highly regarded wineries that has achieved perfect scores!

The adventurous spirit is most evident in Stephan’s luscious Cabernet-Syrah “Paso Blends“, such as the 2019 Estate Cuvée with its highly complex and expansive bouquet, smoky and savory accents with a long, mineral-driven finish.

Another magical wine from this estate is the 2019 Côte à Côte, a straight up sexy Rhone blend that is incredibly nuanced and complex.
