La Closerie de Camensac 2016
Chateau de Camensac is a symbol of excellence in the Haut-Medoc appellation, known for producing wines of finesse, freshness, and balance. La Closerie de Camensac 2016, the estate’s second wine, offers you the chance to experience this Fifth Classified Growth’s exceptional quality at an outstanding value.
Great Growth, Greater Value
The name Camensac, meaning “on the water’s way,” hails from the 17th century, when monks created drainage ditches to improve the terroir by optimising water flow. The result? A terroir that continues to produce exceptional wines to this day, known for its structure, complexity, and ageing potential.
Benefiting from the same meticulous care as the estate’s Grand Vin, La Closerie de Camensac 2016 is a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Awarded a Bronze medal at the Paris International Agricultural Show, it perfectly captures the essence of the 2016 vintage with its structure, soft tannins and remarkable balance.
While this wine is ideal for enjoying now, its structure ensures it will continue to evolve with a few more years of cellaring. Whether you are a long-time Bordeaux fan or seeking a bottle to elevate your next special occasion, this wine offers all the complexity and finesse you would expect from a much higher-priced bottle.
